June News Release
Warm winter greetings to all our clients, colleagues and associates.
The Medical Director and I have been busy with projects to move Busch Apothecary closer to bringing some products to the market and to move our developmental pipeline up the value chain.
BApo has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement a Paarl-based industrialist with extensive experience in the development of natural herbal products into consumer and medicinal products. We are most excited about this milestone as, initially, it puts 5 of our promising remedies firmly on track to reach the people who stand to benefit from using them. We envisage the rapid establishment of a mutually beneficial partnership in which the strengths of our organisations will be leveraged.
As we gather momentum in the development of our pipeline, we are using the month of June to consolidate the medico-scientific basis for the hypotheses that underpin our developmental approach(es). To that end, we shall conduct several scientific review meetings internally and with other parties such as the CSIR. Such deliberations are critically important as we continue to prioritise which of our extensive list of products to develop first.
On the consultancy side:
- We have developed leadership workshop and seminar material for a major parastatal organisation in Gauteng. The seminar is designed to inculcate some “soft” skills which will include:
- Culture, Religion and Politics in the Work-sphere,
- Leading with Confidence and Humility,
- Conflict in the Workplace and
- Time Management. While these topics are dealt with by several authorities on the subject matter, BApo Consultancy’s approach is interactive and multicultural. It derives its authority from first-hand experience in different cultural settings.
- Our negotiations with authorities within the National Department of Health should be finalised soon. We are very excited about the prospect of BApo’s Virtual College of Healthcare Experts – VIRCHE® starting operations. This innovative solution from BApo Consultancy will result in a major paradigm shift in how the medico-legal complaints and litigation are approached, nationwide. The result will be a renewed focus on the Patients and Consumers’ rights while ensuring that the rights and costs of Healthcare Professional and Healthcare Organisations’ remain a major priority.
Our drive to secure adequate investment in our products is in full swing and we hope to announce further developments in this regard in due course.
Thank you for the continued interest in Busch apothecary Pty Ltd.
Best wishes to all.
